Yes, the world’s largest bourbon and music festival is coming back for 4 amazing days of exciting live music performances, spirit tastings, and culinary experiences thanks to Danny Wimmer Presents. By adding a 4th day this year, the idea is to give more time to fit all these experiences in for your enjoyment.

There will be so much to do and see at this Bourbon & Beyond event, which will feature a soundtrack that gets you moving. While the lineup may be subject to change, Jack White and Alanis Morissette are expected to take the stage on Thursday, September 15th. On the 16th, Kings of Leon and Brandi Carlile will perform while on the 17th, Pearl Jam in their first Louisville show since 1994 will be live on stage along with Greta Van Fleet. The final day of the event will feature Chris Stapleton, our own Kentucky native, plus the 50th anniversary celebration of The Doobie Brothers.

Another reason to be there on the 17th? Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney from the popular “It’s Always Sunny Podcast” will be doing their first ever live taping right from one of the stages. Watching the live taping is free with your festival admission.

With these musical performances, the live podcast, and more, the only thing that could go better is getting the chance to taste some bourbon and delicious cuisine. In fact, if you’ve never made your way down the Bourbon Trail, you can do it at this event at the Kroger Big Bourbon Bar, curated by Chris Blandford with an impressive lineup of bourbons and specialty cocktails. It’s a great way to taste all kinds of bourbon in one place.

Want to feel some Hawaiian vibes? The Jim Beam Tiki Barrel Bar will be the place to stop by. Infusing bourbon and rum into specialty island cocktails, it’s the hidden oasis to look for when you need to cool down.

Craft beer lovers need not feel left out, for the Craft Beer Bar has you covered. There will be a variety of brews from Kentucky as well as from around the rest of the country. If you prefer wine, the Highland Grounds Wine Garden will be your favorite stop for sipping the best wines throughout the weekend. But do try to explore the Bourbon Experience where you’ll get a chance to learn more about this spirit through bourbon experts, chat with celebrities, and raise your glass in good company.

If you’re really into bourbon, head to the Silver Dollar Hunter’s Club where you’ll find those rare and vintage bourbon items. Or stay off the radar and escape to the Speakeasy to forget for a moment you’re in the midst of a festival.
