From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., prepare to embark on an evening of sophisticated flavors and elevated experiences that will tantalize your taste buds and awaken your senses. This event, aptly titled "Summer Highs," is part of a dinner series running through July and August, dedicated to showcasing infused spirits and fine cuisine.
At the heart of this monthly dinner series is a mission to share knowledge about cannabinoids through intimate experiences that promote both calming health benefits and mental health awareness. The organizer, David Yusefzadeh, known as Chef Yusef, is no stranger to the culinary world. Having graduated from high school in Lexington, KY, he honed his skills and passion for cooking at renowned establishments around the globe.
By the age of 19, Chef Yusef was already serving up delectable creations to none other than President Bush at The Ritz Carlton in Georgia. He further refined his culinary expertise and acquired invaluable experience at top-rated restaurants worldwide, even earning TWO Michelin Stars during his tenure at The Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. Now based in Boston, MA, Chef Yusef has opened two businesses that reflect his culinary prowess and his desire to help people through mindful approaches to food.
Chef Yusef believes that there is an intimate connection between what we consume and our overall well-being. He understands that putting something in your mouth is an act of trust, and his loyal customer base appreciates his dedication to nourishing not just the body but also the mind and soul.
The "Summer Highs" dinner at The Grand Reserve is a celebration of the serenity and joy that summer brings. The tantalizing menu for the evening features dishes such as Grilled Tuna with sesame mustard and pickled watermelon, Zucchini with feta, toasted garlic, and mint, and Chicken Breast accompanied by sweet corn churro, charred corn salad, baby tomatoes, and tarragon. The dessert course promises a harmonious blend of flavors with Lemon Curd, blueberry jam, brown sugar crumble, and thyme + lemon ice cream, followed by Pistachio Cake adorned with tahini buttercream, roasted pistachios, and saffron ice cream. It's important to note that the event is strictly for guests aged 21 and older. Free parking is available at 938 Manchester Street, located behind Cannabuzz, but we strongly recommend utilizing ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all attendees. While one drink ticket is included with the ticket price, a cash bar will be available throughout the evening, allowing you to explore additional libations if desired.
