They also keep their Facebook updated with incoming inventory if you can’t make it out to the store quite yet.

POPS Resale

In business in Lexington since 1996, this funky store is filled to the brim with awesome vintage finds, or “Previously Owned Products” hence the POPS title. From the checkered floor to the bright neon shirts literally hanging from the ceiling, you can get lost in this spunky world — even their website is fun and bright. Browse through hundreds of vinyl records, racks of clothing, and even old video games to find your next one-of-a-kind treasure.

Feather Your Nest Antiques

Three dealers operate Feather Your Nest, resulting in an eclectic collection — all three women are experienced collectors who have developed their taste in vintage items over the past few decades. So dedicated are they that they built the store from the ground-up, close to the center of downtown Lexington, to house all of their finds. They have an excellent inventory of hand-made items, including jewelry, needlework, and furniture. Additionally, from April through October Feather Your Nest opens its garden section for awesome outdoor merch.

Room Service

Since 1994, Room Service has been selling home furnishings to Lexington in their massive 9000 square foot showroom. They are extremely active on Facebook and Instagram, as well, so you can keep up-to-date with their constantly changing inventory — but note that they don’t do any holds and all sales are final, so make sure to head over to Liberty Road in Downtown Lexington quickly if you see something you like!

Scout

Scout is known in the Lexington area for its collection of mid-century modern design pieces and is laid out in a group-show format, great for finding inspiration. One online review says, “It kind of makes you feel like an interior designer yourself when you buy items from here.” The prices range from affordable to more expensive for their higher-quality pieces.

Street Scene

Check out their website to get an accurate preview of the vibe of Street Scene — spunky, whimsical, and artsy. Open every day of the week, they have a wide variety of goods mostly from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but as their website states, they have “a touch of the 80s and 90s,” too. This playful shop feels geared towards younger vintage lovers looking for fun accessories and bold fashion statements.
