Join the Fun at Keeneland: Become a Member of the Keeneland Kids Club for Exclusive Events and Activities
Keeneland is a premier destination for horse racing enthusiasts, and it's also a great place to take the kids. The track offers a variety of activities and events throughout the year that are perfect for families with children. One of the best ways to experience all that Keeneland has to offer is by becoming a member of the Keeneland Kids Club.
The Keeneland Kids Club in partnership with the UK HealthCare Kentucky Children’s Hospital is the free official club for Keeneland fans 12 and under. The program was formed to support Keeneland’s mission to educate and give back to both the equine industry and the Kentucky community. Through the Kids Club, children are able to experience Keeneland through exclusive events, educational opportunities and communications to grow their love of horses and racing.
One of the most popular events for families is the Saturday morning Sunrise Trackside experience, which takes place during the race meet. Visitors can witness the beautiful Kentucky sunrise while taking in the sights and sounds of the track. This event is available on April 8, 15, 22, October 7, 14, 21, 28. They can also enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious donut, available trackside. Additionally, children's activities will take place from 8:00-10:00 a.m. underneath the grandstand such as a meet and greet with Keeneland's mascot Buckles, face painting, games, jockey silk photos, a paddock demonstration, and more!
During the fall and spring race meets, Kids Club members and their families are also invited to enjoy a special day at the races by receiving free general admission and access to reserved grandstand seating. Children’s activities will take place in the North Terrace from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 23rd & October 15th.
Keeneland Kids Club also hosts an annual Easter Event on Saturday, March 25th, exclusively for Kids Club members. This event is perfect for families with children to come out and enjoy a fun-filled Easter day at the track. The event includes an Easter egg hunt, activities, games and even a visit from the Easter bunny.
SUNRISE TRACKSIDE

Members will receive more information about purchasing tickets for the event via email. So, if you're a Kids Club member or have children who would enjoy an Easter event, be sure to mark March 25th on your calendar and plan to attend.
Another special event that the Kids Club hosts annually is the Brunch with Buckles & Photos with Santa. This exclusive event takes place on December 9th and 10th, 2023, and members will receive more information about the event and the link to purchase tickets via email. This is a perfect opportunity for children to have a festive time with their families, while enjoying delicious brunch and getting a chance to meet Keeneland's mascot Buckles and getting a photo with Santa Claus.
Being a member of the Keeneland Kids Club not only gives children access to exclusive events and activities but also discounts on concessions, merchandise, and tours.
