CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundation's Inaugural Humankindness Gala Silent Auction: Bid on High-End Items to Benefit Health Care in Kentucky Communities

It's time to get your wallets ready, because the CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundation's inaugural Humankindness Gala silent auction is now open to the public! Starting on April 9th and continuing until the gala on April 15th, bidders have the opportunity to snag over 100 high-end items with a combined value of $45,000. All proceeds will benefit CHI Saint Joseph Health facilities and patients, making this event an incredible opportunity to give back to the community.

The silent auction features an impressive range of items, from a $1000 gift card to Be Medispa, a 2003 vintage bottle of Dom Pérignon to a canvas print by Michael Flohr. The print, titled "Good Times Square," is hand-embellished and sculpturally enhanced, making it a true work of art. Another stand-out item is a handmade sterling silver and 14-karat yellow gold Vahan diamond bracelet, featuring a distinct honeycomb pattern and set with 0.28 carats of round diamonds.

These items, along with several other high-end options, were generously donated by various individuals and businesses. The late Jeff Murphy, former vice president for Marketing and Communications for CHI Saint Joseph Health, contributed two particularly exceptional items - the canvas print by Michael Flohr and the vintage bottle of Dom Pérignon. The print even comes with a certificate of authenticity.

But that's not all - bidders can also vie for a basket of high-end bourbons valued at over $500, a two-hour private shopping experience at The Blushery in Lexington, and a week-long trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. With so many fantastic options, there's sure to be something for everyone in this silent auction.

Beyond the opportunity to score some incredible items, the Humankindness Gala will also recognize 40 physicians, advanced practice providers, leaders, and caregivers across Kentucky. These individuals have made a significant impact in their communities, and the gala is a chance to acknowledge their hard work and dedication.

Meredith B. Herald, Manager of Major Gifts for CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations, spoke about the importance of the gala and the generosity of the donors. "Each item in our silent auction has been graciously donated to our cause, and we thank our donors for their selflessness," she said. "It’s because of them and those who have and will contribute to the gala that CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations can support our caregivers and patients every single day."
